Banrock Station Aboard

AMWRRO welcomes Banrock Station on-board!

Banrock Station is world renowned for not only some of Australia’s most fantastic wines that come from South Australia’s Murray River district; but for the continued conservation efforts that Banrock Station contribute to each and every year throughout the world.

For over a decade, Banrock Station wines have brought the pleasure of fine Australian wine and the message of conservation to the world. Part proceeds of every sale have already contributed to conservation projects in 60 countries.

Banrock Station have recently come on-board as AMWRRO sponsors and will help us celebrate the great work both organisations do on a daily basis at our annual fundraising events.

Welcome aboard Banrock Station and thank you for your support. Cheers.

AMWRRO welcomes new sponsor

AMWRRO would like to welcome a new corporate sponsors Flinders Ports to the AMWRRO family.

Flinders Ports have come on board for three years as a financial sponsor and we look forward to working closely with all those within this local industry.

Flinders Ports sponsors a number of community and industry/trade-related activities.

Sponsorships raise awareness of the ports, their contribution to the economy and society, provide an opportunity to build relationships with residents and communities, build awareness within business markets and consolidate relationships with customers.

AMWRRO would like to thank Flinders Ports for considering AMWRRO a worthwhile organisation in which to invest; and we look forward to a long and constructive relationship.

Honeys Released!

Several weeks ago AMWRRO rescued an Australian sea lion from Glenelg beach who was suffering a nasty shark bite and prolapsed uterus.

Longtime volunteer John releases Honey off the AMWRRO vessel “Orca”.

The AMWRRO crew successfully replaced the uterus and treated her badly chomped rear flippers.

Last weekend she was successfully released at a local seal haul out and she has not been seen since.  Another great success story thanks to the very dedicated team of AMWRRO volunteers once again.
